Mumbai, 29 Sep (Commoditiescontrol): Burma Tur Lemon variety price extended decline at Delhi's Naya Bazaar market amid dull local mills buying, while weak cues from other markets, upcoming supplies from Africa, and month-end settlement of forward business continued to add pressure.
Meanwhile, offtake of processed pulses witnessed dull even at lower rates despite ongoing festive season.
Burma Urad FAQ variety eased by Rs 25/100Kg on slack mills buying, regular overseas supplies at Chennai port and arrivals new kharif Urad had gathered pace at producing belt. While, SQ variety remained unchanged.
Currency indication too remain bearish. Depreciation in Rupee to 81.93 against USD make imports costlier.
Madhya Pradesh origin Masoor weaken for second straight day by Rs 25/100Kg on dull mills purchase at prevailing rates. While, Canada crimson variety Masoor priced unchanged amid upcoming overseas supplies. Also, fall in CNF price quoted in the overseas market has stabilized and existing spot prices are below the landed costs of imported masoor on the basis of prevailing CNF.
