Jaipur (Commodities Control) - A mixed price trend was witnessed in coriander mandis of Rajsthan wherein medium and upper range coriander witnessed a price rise of Rs 50-80/Quintal and Lower quality spice fell Rs 50/Quintal. The spice markets regsitered firmness in demand along with arrivals of new coriander crop.
NCDEX coriander April futures slipped fractionally to settle at Rs 6,268 per Quintal today.
New coriander reported a price rise of Rs 150 per Quintal, as the moisture content was registered below 11%. Enquiries are being made as arrivals surge by each passing day. South Indian demand has been rising too, while traders exporting corinader to Dubai and Gulf nations are active too. Ramganj mandi reopened after three days of holidays. Mandi also witnessed buying activity by local spice millers.
Meanwhile, Ramganj mandi of Rajsthan witnessed arrivals of 4500 bags, Kota mandi--2800 bags, Baran mandi--1900 bags, Jaipur mandi--1600 bags.
