Mumbai (Commodities control) – Moong prices traded almost unchanged, as per quality on Monday, in major markets of Rajasthan barring Merta market amid thin mills' buying and ongoing arrivals.
Demand and sale counters in processed Moong reported slow participation.
On other hand, commodity moved higher by Rs 75 to Rs 5,200-8,250/100Kg at Harda market of Madhya Pradesh on local and outstation millers-traders buying activity.
Meanwhile, Pulse traded weak by Rs 50 to Rs 7,000-8,400/100Kg at Jalgaon market on thin trade as per quality.
Millers were processing average quality moong for government dal tender for PDS distribution at cheaper rates.
Arrivals and supplies stocked in godowns, meanwhile, are enough to offset current requirements.
The Directorate General of Foreign trade (DGFT) has allotted quota for import of 1.5 Lakh MTs of moong for the fiscal year 2020-21, until 31st March 2021.
