However, the prices gained in Kanpur and other eastern states due to export demand for Bangladesh. The prices steadied in other markets.
Mill quality Wheat prices lost Rs. 40 per quintal to Rs. 1600-1620 per quintal in Indore. The prices again breached lower mark of Rs. 1500 per quintal in Bhopal. It settled at Rs. 1475-1500 per quintal with lost of Rs. 25 per quintal. However, Wheat gained Rs. 20 to Rs. 1700-1710 per quintal in Kanpur. According to market sources, strong buying from exporters pushed prices. The exporters have to supply the grain to Bangladesh.
