China's Net Gold Imports via Hong Kong Rebound in September

Mumbai (Commodities Control) – China's net gold imports via Hong Kong rebounded sharply in September, Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department data showed on Tuesday.

Net gold imports via Hong Kong to China, the world's top consumer of the metal, stood at 11.113 tonnes, compared with just 1.184 tonnes in August, the report showed.

Total gold imports via Hong Kong rose to 16.14 tonnes from August.

China also imports gold via Shanghai and Beijing.
