MUMBAI (Commodities Control) – Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh origin new Chana traded unchanged at Lawrence road market of Delhi, on Wednesday, amid limited mill buying.

Mills are purchasing just to satisfy immediate requirements, due to slack demand in chana dal and besan from the consumption centres.

15 truckloads of supply arrived in the markets, down from 20 truckloads in the previous session.

Supply from Madhya Pradesh origin was lower due to disparity.

Rajasthan and M.P origin new chana traded flat each, at Rs 4,225/100kg and Rs 4,175, respectively.

Chana August futures were trading 0.2 percent weak or Rs 8 down at Rs 4,130/100kg on National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX).

Current price level in Chana is attractive for millers/traders, as per a local trader.
