MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Tur, Masoor, Moong and Urad FAQ variety widened losses at Naya bazaar pulses market of Delhi, on Saturday.

The demand and sale counters in processed pulses reported lukewarm participation.

Burma-origin Tur lemon variety declined by Rs 25/100kg following weak cues from Mumbai and other domestic market. Negligible trade activity was reported, as millers preferred to crush new domestic Tur over imported variety.

Canada and Madhya Pradesh-origin Masoor fell by Rs 25-50/100Kg, as millers refrained from buying in the market at prevailing rates. Even arrivals of new domestic Masoor is likely to begin soon.

Rajasthan-origin Moong slipped by Rs 100/100Kg amid dull millers trade activity, following weak sentiments in other pulses.

Burma Urad FAQ variety widened losses by Rs 100/100Kg due to slack local buying, slower offtake in processed Urad, fresh supply from overseas at Chennai and weak cues from Chennai/Mumbai markets. Buyers have been cautious in ready trade, tracking weak prices in forward deals, in Chennai and fresh supply from Burma.

On other hand, Urad SQ variety ruled unchanged due to low ready stock.

Following are rates (Rs/100Kgs) of various pulses (Imported & Desi) in Delhi today:
