MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Daily cotton arrivals at major markets of the country estimated higher by nearly 39.2% to 36,300 bales on Tuesday, Apr 24 from previous day arrivals of 26,300 bales.

Total new crop arrivals, since Oct 1, have reached 25.43 million bales, down by 7.32% from 27.43 million bales arrived during the same period last year.

Following are the state-wise estimated volume of cotton supply:

NOTE: Total arrivals in 2018/19 column (including Sundays) were recorded from October onwards and do not include estimated 3 lakh bales recorded during the month of September. There might be an additional 5-10 percent arrivals during the evening session and that are not added in total bales.

We have begun tracking market (mandi wise) arrivals data of various states which is available later during the evening in the market commentary section of cotton on our website titled cotton Arrivals'. The variation of 5-10 percent could occur when comparing the arrivals in this report with the state wise total arrival figure.
