Mumbai, 16 Apr 2024 (Commoditiescontrol):Moong prices have held steady over the past two weeks. While there has been some fluctuation over the last month, sufficient supply from NAFED sales and domestic arrivals have balanced demand, keeping prices stable.

Furthermore, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a strong monsoon at 106% of the Long Period Average (LPA). This, along with favorable rains in Karnataka's Moong growing regions, is expected to benefit Kharif crop sowing starting in mid-May.

Analysts predict Moong prices will likely remain steady in the near future due to the balance between supply and demand.
