New Delhi, May 11 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Saturday stood at 30,700 bales, marking a slight decrease from the 33,100 bales recorded on the previous trading day.
Breaking down the arrivals by region:
- Punjab and Haryana, along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan, accounted for 1,400 bales.
- Gujarat witnessed an arrival of 7,000 bales.
- Maharashtra recorded arrivals of 18,000 bales.
- Madhya Pradesh saw an arrival of 700 bales.
- Andhra Pradesh-Telangana together recorded 2,500 bales.
- Tamil Nadu received 100 bales.
- Karnataka witnessed the arrival of 1,000 bales.
- Odisha did not record any arrivals.
