Mumbai, April 30 (Commoditiescontrol): Indonesia has increased its crude palm oil (CPO) reference price to $877.28 per metric ton for the month of May, a Trade Ministry official announced on Tuesday. This represents a rise from April's reference price of $857.62.
The updated reference price will maintain the current export tax for CPO at $52 per ton and the levy at $90 per ton.
Indonesia is a leading global producer of palm oil, a commodity used in a wide range of products, including cooking oils, cosmetics, and biofuels. The reference price is used by the Indonesian government to establish export taxes and levies.
