Major Producing States Receive 37,900 Cotton Bales

New Delhi, May 21 (Commodities Control): On Tuesday, cotton arrivals in the mandis of major producing states across the country totaled 37,900 bales, an increase from the previous trading day's arrival of 31,300 bales.

Of the total arrivals, 1,000 bales arrived in Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Arrivals of 6,500 bales were recorded in Gujarat, 25,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,000 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 2,500 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 0 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 1,500 bales in Karnataka mandis, and 0 bales in Odisha.
