Mumbai, May 17 (Commodities Control): Solapur pulse market has witnessed an increase in tur prices this morning, due to a shortfall in supply relative to the demand from millers. Despite the higher rates, millers are purchasing tur as per requirements. Meanwhile, chana prices remained steady in the market.
The Pink variety new tur prices rose by Rs 100 to trade in the range of Rs 11,100 to Rs 12,300 per quintal. Average quality tur prices also surged by Rs 100 to trade in the range of Rs 10,700 to Rs 11,900. Today, the market received 20 truckloads, down from the previous day arrival of 25 trucks.
Turning to Chana, mill-quality Chana prices remain unchanged to trade in the range of Rs 5,900 to Rs 6,350 per quintal. Similarly, Annagiri Chana prices hold steady to quote in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 6,700 per quintal. Today, the market saw the arrival of 5 truckloads, matching the arrival figure noted on the previous trading day.
