Solapur Pulse Market Sees Surge in Tur and Chana Prices

Mumbai, May 14 (Commodities Control): Amid millers active buying, Solapur pulse market has witnessed increase in tur and chana prices.

The Pink variety new tur prices surged by Rs 100 to trade in the range of Rs 11,100 to Rs 12,100 per quintal. Today, the market received 25 truckloads, while arrival of 35 trucks noted on the previous trading day.

Turning to Chana, mill-quality Chana prices increased by Rs 50 to trade in the range of Rs 5,900 to Rs 6,350 per quintal. Similarly, Annagiri Chana prices rose by Rs 50 to quote in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 6,700 per quintal. Today, the market saw the arrival of 5 truckloads, matching the arrival figure noted on the previous trading day.
