Jaipur, 16 May (Commoditiescontrol) : Mustard seed complex witnessed firm tone on Thursday tracking strong buying support. Prices of mustard seed, oil and cake were quoted higher in Jaipur and most other markets today. The processors and the stockiest were interested in increasing their stock position in anticipation of more upsides in the coming days.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose Rs 75 to Rs 5750-5775 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices rose Rs 14 to Rs 1064-1065 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 14 to 1074-1075 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were Rs 5 higher Rs 2750-2755 per quintal in Jaipur.
Mustard seed prices rose Rs 50 to Rs 5575-5625 per quintal and mustard oil expeller were flat at Rs 1055 per 10kg in the market of Delhi. In the market of Charkhi Dadri, mustard oil prices rose Rs 75 to Rs 5550-5600 per quintal. Mustard oil expeller rose Rs 5 to Rs 1045 per 10kg and mustard cake prices rose Rs 10 to Rs 2750 per quintal.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 6 lakh bags across the country, up 25000 bags from last session. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 3.40 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 65,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 70,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 25,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 20,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 80,000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were flat Rs 876 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 895 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were quoted Rs 5 higher at Rs 910 per 10 kg. Degum prices gained Rs 5 higher at Rs 835 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices rose Rs 5 to Rs 920 per 10 kg.
