Mumbai, May 22 (Commodities Control): Coriander spot prices surged in the key markets such as Guna, Kumbhraj, and Ramganj mandis, while prices remained stable in Gondal. The key markets witnessed a total arrival of 38,000 bags, with each bag weighing 40 kg.
In the futures market, the Dhaniya contract for June delivery settled at Rs 7766 per quintal, marking a rise of Rs 78 over the previous close of Rs 7688 per quintal.
Similarly, the Dhaniya contract for July delivery saw a rise, settling at Rs 7870 per quintal, up by Rs 102 from the previous close of Rs 7768 per quintal.
Dhaniya contract for JUN delivery settled at Rs 7766/quintal showing an rise of Rs 78 over previous close of Rs 7688/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 7632-7798 for the day. Open interest decreased by -445 MT to 26720 MT, while trading volume decreased by -2330 to 5400 MT.
Dhaniya contract for JUL delivery settled at Rs 7870/quintal showing an rise of Rs 102 over previous close of Rs 7768/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 7722-7880 for the day. Open interest increased by 1245 MT to 3000 MT, while trading volume decreased by -690 to 2045 MT.
Currently The spread between JUN and JUL contract is -104 Rs/quintal.
