Mumbai, 16 May (Commoditiescontrol): FranceAgriMer has revised its projections for French soft wheat stocks at the end of the 2023/24 season, now estimating it to reach 3.90 million metric tons, up from the previous forecast of 3.75 million. This increase represents a 53.6% rise compared to last season's levels. The farm office also adjusted its outlook for French soft wheat shipments within the EU for this season to 6.25 million tons, down from the earlier estimate of 6.28 million.
Additionally, they reduced the expected demand for livestock feed to 4.58 million tons from 4.65 million. On a brighter note, the forecast for French soft wheat exports outside the EU for the 2023/24 period saw a slight increase to 10.05 million metric tons, up from 10.00 million in the previous month's forecast. These adjustments reflect ongoing changes in supply and demand dynamics within the French soft wheat market for the current season.
