Mumbai, March 26 (Commodities Control): In the Coriander futures market, both the April and May contracts experienced a decline in prices.
The total arrival of Dhaniya in Rajasthan stood at 39,500 bags, indicating a significant supply in the market. Additionally, Kata witnessed a decline in prices.
Furthermore, mandis in Gujarat remained closed due to the March-end account settlement, contributing to the subdued trading activity in the region.
Dhaniya contract for APR delivery settled at Rs 7650/quintal showing an fall of Rs -58 over previous close of Rs 7708/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 7618-7696 for the day. Open interest decreased by -485 MT to 16995 MT, while trading volume decreased by -1090 to 1195 MT.
Dhaniya contract for MAY delivery settled at Rs 7726/quintal showing an fall of Rs -72 over previous close of Rs 7798/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 7700-7786 for the day. Open interest increased by 260 MT to 10285 MT, while trading volume decreased by -390 to 860 MT.
Currently The spread between APR and MAY contract is -76 Rs/quintal.
