Mumbai, March 21 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices have maintained stability across various origins. In Kottayam, prices range from Rs. 860 to Rs. 870 per kilogram for Comoros origin, Rs. 860 to Rs. 880 for Madagascar origin, and Rs. 890 to Rs. 920 for Sri Lankan origin. Meanwhile, domestic clove prices in Kottayam have remained consistent, ranging between Rs. 950 and Rs. 980 per kg.

The market situation in Kottayam reflects steady prices, although higher supply resulting from increased imports and decreased exports is exerting pressure on domestic market prices.

In Shimoga, prices per kilogram remain unchanged from the previous session, ranging between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,020. Additionally, clove stems continue to be priced at Rs. 160 per kilogram in Kottayam, aligning with the rates observed in the previous session.
