Mumbai, March 14 (Commoditiescontrol): Clove prices have remained stable across various regions, with minor fluctuations observed in certain areas.
In Kottayam, prices range between Rs. 860 and Rs. 870 per kilogram in the Comoros, Rs. 860 to Rs. 880 in Madagascar, and Rs. 890 to Rs. 920 in Sri Lanka. Despite a slight decrease in the previous week, domestic clove prices in Kottayam are expected to remain steady at Rs. 950 to Rs. 980 per kg. The market is experiencing pressure due to increased imports and decreased exports, resulting in higher supply levels.
In Shimoga, prices remain consistent with the previous session, ranging between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,020 per kilogram.
Additionally, clove stems are priced at Rs. 160 per kilogram in Kottayam, maintaining stability compared to the previous session.
Overall, despite some shifts in market dynamics, clove prices have managed to maintain stability across various regions.
