Mumbai, March 7, 2024 (Commoditiescontrol): Clove prices in Kottayam fluctuated today. Imported cloves from the Comoros are priced between Rs. 860 and Rs. 870 per kilogram, Madagascar cloves between Rs. 860 and Rs. 880, and Sri Lankan cloves between Rs. 890 and Rs. 920.
Domestic clove prices are expected to remain steady between Rs. 950 and Rs. 980 per kg despite a recent dip due to increased imports and decreased exports. Shimoga prices remain consistent with the previous session at Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,020 per kilogram. Clove stem prices in Kottayam held steady at Rs. 160 per kilogram.
