Mumbai, April 18 (Commoditiescontrol): In Kottayam, imported clove prices remained steady, with Comoros cloves ranging from Rs. 840 to Rs. 860 per kilogram, Madagascar cloves priced between Rs. 850 and Rs. 870 per kilogram, and Sri Lankan origin cloves priced from Rs. 850 to Rs. 880 per kilogram. Domestic clove prices in Kottayam have also stabilized, trading between Rs. 880 and Rs. 900 per kilogram after experiencing declines in the previous 2-3 sessions. The increased import volumes have contributed to higher supply, thus influencing prices in the domestic market.

Meanwhile, in Shimoga, clove prices held firm at Rs. 900 to Rs. 920 per kilogram, unchanged from the previous session. Additionally, clove stems were priced at Rs. 125 per kilogram in Kottayam, consistent with the prices from the previous session.
