Kapas Arrivals of 35,000 Bales Noted in Major Producing States

New Delhi, May 22 (Commodities Control): The arrival of Kapas in the mandis of major producing states across the country on Wednesday was reported at 35,000 bales, a decrease from the 37,900 bales recorded on the previous trading day.

Of the total arrivals, 1,400 bales arrived in Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Arrivals of 6,500 bales were recorded in Gujarat, 22,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,000 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 2,500 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 1,500 bales in Karnataka mandis and 0 bales in Odisha.
