Cotton Arrivals in Major Producing States Show Decline

New Delhi, April 23 (Commodities Control): Cotton arrivals in the markets of major producing states of the country on Tuesday totaled 38,300 bales, marking a decrease from the previous trading day's figure of 44,600 bales.

Out of the total arrivals, 2,200 bales were reported in Punjab and Haryana, including Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Gujarat witnessed arrivals of 15,000 bales, while Maharashtra also recorded 15,000 bales.

Madhya Pradesh saw 1,500 bales arrive, while Andhra Pradesh-Telangana reported 3,000 bales. Additionally, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 1,500 bales in Karnataka markets, and no arrivals were reported in Odisha.
