Cotton Arrivals in Major Producing States Remain Steady

New Delhi, April 27 (Commodities Control): Cotton arrivals in the markets of major producing states of the country on Saturday totaled 30,950 bales, slightly down from 31,350 bales on the previous trading day.

Out of the total arrivals, Punjab, Haryana, Upper, and Lower Rajasthan received 1,500 bales collectively. Gujarat witnessed arrivals of 8,000 bales, while Maharashtra saw 15,000 bales entering its markets.

Madhya Pradesh reported 1,800 bales, while Andhra Pradesh-Telangana received 3,000 bales. Tamil Nadu recorded arrivals of 150 bales, Karnataka markets saw 1,500 bales, and Odisha reported no arrivals.
