Cotton Arrivals of 31,300 Bales Noted in Major Producing States

New Delhi, May 20 (Commodities Control): The arrival of Kapas (raw cotton) in the markets of the major producing states across the country totaled 31,300 bales on Monday, up from 27,800 bales on the previous trading day.

Of the total arrivals, 1,400 bales were recorded in Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Gujarat saw the arrival of 7,000 bales, Maharashtra had 17,000 bales, and Madhya Pradesh reported 1,400 bales.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana collectively recorded 2,500 bales. Additionally, Tamil Nadu and Odisha saw no arrivals, while Karnataka mandis recorded 2,000 bales.
