Mumbai, May 02 (Commoditiescontrol):Prices for moong beans in Madhya Pradesh's major markets have fallen as increased summer crop arrivals increases. Khirkiya has experienced a significant drop of Rs 100 per quintal, while Harda has seen prices drop by an even greater Rs 400 per quintal.

Market analysts expect this downward pressure on prices to continue as arrivals increase from other growing regions in the state. Rajasthan markets, which still hold older crop supplies, are also reporting price decreases of Rs 100 per quintal due to lowered demand.

"Prices are likely to remain under pressure in the coming days as arrivals continue to rise," commented a trade analyst. "With more fresh moong crop available, buyers are naturally shifting their preferences. This could put additional pressure on the prices of older crop moong beans.
