Indian Soybean Arrivals Surge as Plant Rates Remain Stable

Mumbai, May 14 (Commodities Control) - India's soybean market is witnessing a notable increase in arrivals, attributed to stable plant rates across key producing states. Total soybean arrivals have surpassed 225,000 bags, with Madhya Pradesh leading the way with 100,000 bags. Maharashtra has reported a substantial arrival of 100,000 bags, followed by Rajasthan with 13,000 bags. Other states collectively contributed 12,000 bags to the total arrivals.



Market prices have shown some fluctuation reflecting regional trends. In Madhya Pradesh, soybean prices ranged from Rs 4,550 to Rs 4,700 per quintal. Maharashtra witnessed price variations, with rates fluctuating between Rs 4,450 and Rs 4,700 per quintal. Rajasthan reported prices in the range of Rs 4,550 to Rs 4,700 per quintal.
Meanwhile, soybean plant prices have remained relatively stable. In Madhya Pradesh, plant rates were recorded between Rs 4,750 and Rs 4,850 per quintal. Maharashtra saw slight fluctuations, with prices ranging from Rs 4,725 to Rs 4,830 per quintal. Rajasthan reported plant prices between Rs 4,775 and Rs 4,825 per quintal.
