Major Producing States Across India Receive 29,100 Cotton Bales

New Delhi, May 25 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states across India was recorded at 29,100 bales on Saturday. This marks a slight decrease from the 29,900 bales reported on the previous working day.

Of the total arrivals, 150 bales arrived in Punjab and Haryana and Upper and Lower Rajasthan. The arrival of 8,000 bales was recorded in Gujarat, 15,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,000 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 4,000 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 1,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 0 bales in Odisha.
