Major Producing States Across India Receive 31,500 Cotton Bales

New Delhi, May 14 (Commodities Control): On Tuesday, the arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states across the country amounted to 31,500 bales, compared to 34,500 bales on the previous trading day.

Among the total arrivals, Punjab, Haryana, Upper Rajasthan, and Lower Rajasthan collectively contributed 1,400 bales. Gujarat witnessed an arrival of 8,000 bales, while Maharashtra recorded 17,000 bales.

Additionally, 1,000 bales arrived in Madhya Pradesh, and 2,500 bales were reported in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Furthermore, Tamil Nadu saw the arrival of 100 bales, Karnataka recorded 1,500 bales, while Odisha reported no arrivals.
