Jaipur, 23 May (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed complex continued its bullish trend on Thursday tracking firm global cues and robust buying support. The stockiest and the processors raised their buying while the sellers were cautiously liquidating their stocks in anticipation of more upsides in coming days.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose sharpy by Rs 100 to Rs 6100-6125 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Rs 37 to trade at Rs 1154-1155 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 37 to Rs 1164-1165 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices gained Rs 30 to Rs 2850-2855 per quintal in Jaipur.
In Delhi, mustard seed prices were quoted Rs 200 higher at Rs 6100-6150 per quintal. Mustard oil expeller was quoted Rs 30 higher at Rs 1155 per 10 kg in the market of Delhi.
In the market of Charkhi Dadri of Haryana, prices of mustard seed gained Rs 175 to Rs 6050-6100 per quintal and mustard oil expeller was quoted Rs 35 higher at Rs 1145 per 10kg. Cake prices were also quoted Rs 25 higher at Rs 2825 per quintal.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 5.65 lakh bags across the country, down 90,000 bags from last session.Arrivals of mustard seed were around 3.5 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 50000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 50,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 20,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 20,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 75,000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, prices of CPO was quoted Rs 10 higher at Rs 886 per 10kg and RBD Palmolein also traded Rs 5 up at Rs 905 per 10kg. Soy oil refine prices rose Rs 10 to Rs 930 per 10 kg and degum traded Rs 20 higher at Rs 870 per 10 kg. Sun flower refine was quoted Rs 15 higher at Rs 940 per 10 kg.
