Govt May Lift Ban On Tur/Urad Futures - CNBC Awaaz

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - The government may lift the restriction from the futures trading of tur and urad, said CNBC Awaz news channel on microbogging website twitter.

The Consumer Affairs Ministry's price monitoring committee has also given consent to lift the ban.

According to the CNBC Awaaz report, the proposal is likely to be sent to SEBI next week. The Niti Ayog has also recommended the removal of the ban on tur and urad.

According to experts, farmers will be benefitted from lifting of ban on tur and urad futures.
