MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Food grain production in Andhra Pradesh during 2017-18 (Jul-Jun) is likely to increase by 7.50% at 157.59 lakh tonne compared with 146.60 lakh tonnes a year ago, said an official with farm department.
Production of chana is estimated to rise 31.34% on year to 418,000 tonne. Maize output pegged 30.43% higher at 21.43 lakh tonne while cotton crop estimated 24.51% up at 19.56 lakh bales (170kg each).
