MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Pulses imports at Nhava Sheva Port as on February 2017 of the current Financial Year (FY) 2016-17 (April-March) rose 25.68 percent to 20.80 lakh tonnes against 16.55 lakh tonnes same period a year ago, according to data compiled by commoditiescontrol.com from shipping agency.
Around 17.25 lakh tonnes of pulses reached at Mumbai port during FY 2015-16.
Mumbai port received highest 5.52 lakh tonnes chana during April to February (2016-17), down from 3.97 lakh tonnes same period a year ago.
