MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Gujarat government released fourth advance estimates of Food grains, Oilseed and other crops for 2015-16.
State agriculture department has revised total food grain production at 63.17 lakh tonnes versus 65.59 lakh tonnes estimated in third advance estimate.
Total pulses production in the state was estimated higher at 5.15 lakh tonnes compared with 5.01 lakh tonnes estimated earlier in third estimate.
Cotton production estimate kept unchanged at 91.15 lakh bales (170kg each).
