MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - The price of 334 and Teja varieties have gone up by 1.4% and 2.3% respectively. Price of chilli is unlikely to come down considering good export demand and consumption levels on account of upcoming festival season.
Similarly, of the total stock of around 38 lakh bags in Guntur, the availability of premium export grade varieties is very limited. In coming days, price of Teja could see a jump by INR 150-200 per quintal. The price of Teja delux variety touched INR 132 per kg levels on the higher side.
