WEEKLY: Coriander Export May Decline Ahead Amid Supply From Russia, Ukraine

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - During the week, coriander arrivals in Kota, Ramganj and Baran markets stood at 21,200 bags. The price of Badami variety reached INR 64 per kg levels from 62 per kg levels last week.

Coriander export during the first four months of 2019 stood at 12,992 MT as compared to 9362 MT exported in the same period last year. Export of Indian coriander is expected to decline in coming days due to fresh arrivals from the destinations like Russia and Ukraine.

Russia exported around only 317 MT of coriander to India during the first four months of 2019 as compared to 7672 MT in the same period last year indicating limited import ofcoriander in India.

Malaysia remained the major destination for India coriander accounted for about 32% ofthe total export at an average price of USD 1106 per MT.
