MUMBAI (Commmoditiescontrol) - Black pepper (MG1) price in Kochi market declined gradually and touched INR 362 per kg levels which started recovering to INR 365 per kg levels at present.
Fortnight-wise export of pepper from Vietnam Since beginning January 2019 Vietnam exported 163,759 MT of pepper to various destinations. From Jan to May 2019, India imported around 12,213 MT of pepper from Vietnam. May 2019 Vietnam pepper export price to India stood at USD 2429 per MT as compared to Jan 2019 level of USD 2611 per MT.

FOB price of various origin - Black pepper
Pepper FOB prices increased in the major destinations as compared to previous fortnight. Vietnam pepper FOB price witnessed 5.5% increase corresponding to decline in export quantity as compared to previous fortnight.
