Weekly: Red Chilli Prices Likely To Decline Slightly From Current Levels

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Guntur market re-opened on 12th June 2019, during the week the arrivals stood at 135,000 bags.

The price of Teja variety is traded at INR 85-114 per kg levels levels. As the sowing is about start and the rainfall is also likely to be favourable, the price may come down in coming days.

As on date chilli stock position in Guntur is approximately 45 lakh bags.

Khammam -16,500
Byadgi -29,000
Total -194,500

On account of southwest monsoon, chilli price across all the major markets is likely to decline slightly from the current levels.
