MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - US cotton production is likely to be at 20.59 million bales in 2019-20, said Bloomberg survey ahead of the USDA’s World Agricultural Supply and Demand report for the 2019-20 cotton crop, which is scheduled for release on December 10.

The USDA in its earlier November forecast had estimated US 2019-20 cotton production at 20.82 million bales.

US 2019-20 cotton ending stocks are estimated lower at 6.01 million bales compared to 6.10 million bales, projected by USDA in November.

World 2019-20 production is also pegged down at 121.58 million bales than 121.94 million bales estimated by USDA last month. World end stocks are also estimated slightly lower at 80.62 milion bales from 80.80 million bales.
