Ahmedabad, November 9 (CommoditiesControl): Coriander prices in Gujarat remained steady today due to low demand and limited arrivals, even as the Gondal Mandi, a primary coriander hub, reopened after a two-day closure with 5,000 bags arriving. Traders reported reduced demand, contributing to stable prices. With the futures market closed, significant spot market fluctuations are unlikely, with Monday’s arrivals expected to guide prices.
Across the state, a total of around 7,550 bags, each bag weighing 40 kg, of coriander arrived, with an average price ranging between Rs 1350-1530 per 20 kg.
In specific mandis:
- Gondal Mandi: 5,460 bags traded at Rs 1401-1651 per 20 kg.
- Rajkot Mandi: 550 bags traded at Rs 1300-1450 per 20 kg.
- Junagadh Mandi: 800 bags arrived.
- Jetpur Mandi: 300 bags arrived.
- Jamjodhpur Mandi: 300 bags arrived, with other mandis receiving around 600 bags in total.
