Mumbai, 05 Nov (Commoditiescontrol): The Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) announced the official spot rate for Grade 3 cotton at 19,291 Pakistani rupees per maund (approximately 40 kg), which equates to around 52,000 Indian rupees per candy (356 kg).
Grade 3 cotton is classified within fine to coarse cotton varieties, featuring a staple length of 27 mm and a micronaire range between 3.8 and 4.9 NCL (no control limits).
In the kerb market, key cotton varieties traded between 17,100 and 18,300 Pakistani rupees per maund, translating to approximately 46,000 to 49,000 Indian rupees per candy.
