New Delhi, October 5 (Commodities Control): Cotton prices in Karnataka remained stable on Saturday due to limited demand from spinning mills, while daily arrivals of Kapas in the state’s mandis also showed no change.
Traders report that cotton prices have held steady for the second consecutive day, influenced by the onset of the new Kapas season. As clear weather prevails in the cotton-producing areas, expectations are high for increased arrivals of new Kapas in the coming days. However, recent declines in global cotton prices have led to weaker than normal demand for exports. Kapas and Cottonseed prices also remained stable in the state.
