Jaipur, October 4 (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard complex saw bullish tone on Friday despite high arrivals of oilseed. Demand for edible oils has increased from the major consumption centres as Diwali is falling in this month-end, a market analyst said. Prices of oilcake also surged today.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned gained Rs 25 to Rs 7025-7050 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices surged Rs 5 to Rs 1450-1451 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 6 to 1460-1461 per 10kg.
Mustard cake prices were Rs 20 higher at Rs 2635-2640 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed rose Rs 50 to Rs 6675-6725 per quintal in Delhi and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 15 down at 1400 per 10kg.
In Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed gained Rs 50 to Rs 6650-6700 per quintal and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 10 higher at Rs 1385 per 10kg. Cake prices were Rs 10 up at Rs 2680 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.
Total arrivals of mustard seed increased by one lakh bags to 3.25 lakh bags across the country.
Arrivals of mustard seed were 1.65 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 35,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 45,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 15,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 15,000 bags in Gujarat. Arrivals were 50,000 bags in the other major markets of the country.
At Kandla port, CPO prices rose Rs 5 to Rs 1258 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices were offered Rs 25 higher at Rs 1310 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were flat at Rs 1245 per 10 kg. Degum prices were Rs 4 higher at 1237 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil gained Rs 5 to Rs 1270 per 10 kg.
