New Delhi, October 4 (Commodities Control): Cotton arrivals in mandis across the country increased significantly on Friday, reaching a total of 27,200 bales, up from 23,000 bales reported on the previous trading day.
Breaking down the arrivals, Punjab, Haryana, and both Upper and Lower Rajasthan contributed 4,600 bales. Gujarat saw an influx of 5,000 bales, while Maharashtra reported 3,000 bales.
Madhya Pradesh led with 6,000 bales, and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together accounted for 5,500 bales. Additionally, Tamil Nadu received 100 bales, and Karnataka's mandis recorded 3,000 bales, whereas Odisha reported no arrivals.
