Ahmedabad, August 10 (Commodities Control): The coriander market in Gujarat saw an increase in arrivals today, but prices remained stable due to limited demand.
In the spot market, trading was active, but the influx of older coriander stocks and a lack of demand for high-quality goods kept prices steady. Traders anticipate a potential decline of Rs 10-20 per 20 kg in the futures market in the coming days, though this is not expected to significantly impact spot prices.
Today, around 6,850 bags of coriander arrived in Gujarat, with the average price holding steady at Rs 1,300-1,500 per 20 kg.
In Gondal Mandi, 4,000 bags of coriander were received, with 3,025 bags being traded at prices ranging from Rs 1,331 to Rs 1,611 per 20 kg. Rajkot Mandi reported 1,100 bags, with trade occurring at Rs 1,120-1,402 per 20 kg.
Other notable arrivals included 400 bags in Junagadh Mandi, 250 bags in Jetpur Mandi, and 600 bags in Jamjodhpur Mandi, with around 500 bags arriving in other mandis across the state.
