Jaipur, 16 July (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed and cake prices were mostly flat while oil prices were quoted higher on Tuesday. Demand for mustard seed were slow and arrivals were also down.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned were flat at Rs 6075-6100 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices rose Rs 3 to Rs 1157-1158 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also gained Rs 3 to 1167-1168 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were steady at Rs 2635-2640 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed were flat at Rs 5925-5975 per quintal in Delhi while mustard oil expeller traded at Rs 1145 per 10kg.
In Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed were quoted Rs 25 higher at Rs 5900-5950 per quintal while mustard oil expeller traded flat Rs 1135 per 10kg. Cake prices also gained Rs 10 to Rs 2610 per quintal.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 3.5 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 1.9 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 35,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 40,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 15,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 15,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 55,000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were Rs 3 up at Rs 857 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 10 to Rs 900 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were Rs 5 higher at Rs 945 per 10 kg. Degum prices were quoted Rs flat at Rs 870 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil traded Rs 10 higher at Rs 960 per 10 kg.
