Burma Tur, Africa Tur price decline at Mumbai; Sluggish mill participation dents

Mumbai, 29 Sep (Commoditiescontrol): Price of Burma-Africa Tur declined at Mumbai Pulses markets amid sluggish participation from local mills that followed weak cues from other domestic markets, while upcoming supplies from Africa and month-end settlement of forward business weighed on trader sentiment.

Meanwhile, dulle offtake witnessed in processed pulses even at lower rates despite ongoing festive season.

Burma Urad FAQ dropped on slack mills buying, regular overseas supplies at Chennai port and arrivals new kharif Urad had gathered pace at producing belt.

Currency indication too remain bearish. Depreciation in Rupee to 81.92 against USD make imports costlier.

Tanzania Chana both old-new crop fell each by Rs 50-75/100Kg on thin buying from besan and dall mills and supplies from its origin.
