Mumbai (Commodities Control) - Spot cotton rates on Saturday edged higher by Rs 15-20/Maund in North Indian cotton mandis, while the fibre rose by Rs 100-150 per Candy in Lower Rajasthan.
In Central India, the cotton rates witnessed price gains in the range of Rs 100-200 per Candy. However prices were still in the South Indian mandis due to restricted mill buying.
