Mumbai (Commodities Control) – Brazil's soybean production is expected to reach 129.98 million tonnes in the 2020/21 harvest, consultancy AgResource estimated on Friday, an increase from the 128 million tonnes previously projected.

An AgResource analyst said excessive rainfall is expected to limit production and this will become evident as the harvest advances. Some farmers have faced 30% discounts in Mato Grosso due to soy that has been rained on, the analyst said.
